Hello there, friend!
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet.
Growing up as the daughter of a seamstress, my childhood was spent immersed in rich textiles, colors, and patterns. I learned, at a young age, to look at a pile of fabric scraps as potential to create and design whatever my heart could imagine. Despite my natural attraction to design and my love of colors and patterns, I challenged myself to obtain a college degree in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering. After a short but successful career in research science, I left the industry to embrace motherhood and pursue my childhood passions of textile design, handmade art, gardening, and homemaking.
My grandmother taught me that it’s okay to embrace a colorful, quirky, and eclectic style and to see the world through my own pair of nerdy glasses. I love to tell stories through my art and often create designs with my rad kiddos while sitting elbow to elbow at our dining table. When we draw, paint, and create together, I can’t help but feel that our art makes this world a happier place.

The story behind His Kingdom Creations…
Once upon a time, in a little green cottage with a very big backyard, lived a curious little girl full of wild imagination. She fancied herself the daughter of the King Most High, with an entire kingdom at her fingertips to explore. She overturned rocks in the gardens to find rolly polly bug families. She put bonnets on her pet bunnies and carried them around the yard. In the spring she planted seeds and in summer collected handfuls of posies to share. She found great delight in simple, everyday tasks and the curious creations she’d spot while on her kingdom adventures. When the little girl grew up, a lot of things changed — but her delight in the beauty of her everyday life, her love of kingdom creatures, and her wild imagination never went away and only grew stronger.
